Ah… the Cheetah… This is the classiest place to work in Atlanta. According to some guys, Cheetah girls are “classy,” they aren’t just any old strippers! From several accounts, girls still make $500+ a night. Some of the girls are 10/10, but I found that most are sevens. The doormen are charming, and I love the stripper boutique by the entrance.
The downside:
Expect to be on stage a lot. There are always 15-20 dancers on the stages at any time. Also, a strict “three strikes” policy. No overzealous dances, no being late to work, etc. Mistakes can cause you to be forced to work day shifts. Shifts are 8pm-4am. Newbies work three nights a week, then graduate to two nights.
Come in prepared for auditions: makeup done, hair done, spray tanned, sober, etc. You will be expected to undress. Do not use your cellphone at any time during your audition. If something happens and you can’t start working on schedule, be sure to call and tell the house moms. If you don’t appear to be taking the audition seriously enough, house moms Heather and Holly might just boot you right out!
They are rude and pretentious, and if a happy family is what you want in your backstage area, this is not the place to be.
In Fulton county, strippers have licenses that cost about $380. You will have to buy one at the courthouse before beginning to work here. The process takes about a week.
Final note: It is important to be happy where you work even if you make a little less money. Good luck!
